Ordering Searches from the Website

1. If you are not a registered user, register your account free of charge by completing the registration form which may be accessed directly by clicking on Register situated next to the Sign-In icon.

2. Select the New searches/Updates page or alternatively the Old searches search engine depending on whether you desire to order searches irrespective of source or only the searches present in the company’s databank.

3. New Searches and Updates: This page will allow you to obtain searches from all sources including the searches databank, databases of contributors and the Public Registry. Orders may be made by person, company or development by selecting the appropriate option at the left hand corner of the screen and inputting the necessary details in the relative fields.

- In the case of searches By Person, the following criteria are necessary
Surname, name, place of birth, name of father and mother, dates of transfers and liabilities required.

- In the case of Firms:

Name of the firm, dates of transfers and liabilities required. Providing the company registration number will ensure the correct designation of the firm.

- In the case of Developments:

The town, address or designation of the development, dates of transfers and liabilities requested
NOTE: Updates for developments are only possible if available in the database.
At this stage you can utilize any of the ancillary options offered by the order page, namely:

(a) Fast Track:- Collection within 3 working days in the case of Fast Track searches from the Public Registry. Public Registry charges apply.
(b) Courier option:- Delivery service to the User's registered address.
(c) Express Order:- If this option is not selected, the user will receive a Results e-mail indicating the old searches available and the price relative to those old searches as well as the necessary updates which will have to be ordered from the Public Registry.

Once the fields have been completed, click submit and your order shall be received by the Company.

Upon receiving the order, the Company shall, depending on whether the express order option has been selected or not, send a Results E-mail or Confirmation E-mail which will confirm your order. Your order will be processed and the relevant searches obtained. Express orders will incur no extra charge.

Upon receipt of the Results E-mail from the company, the user shall send a Final Order E-mail, indicating which searches specified in the Results E-mail, are required. It is important to note that the user also has the option to order either the old searches alone OR the old searches together with any updates.

Please note that where no results are obtained from the old searches search engine, the Company will endeavor to obtain such searches from alternative sources before indicating which period must be ordered as an update.

Upon receipt of the user's final order, the Company shall proceed with the order and the user shall receive a Confirmation e-mail indicating that the order is being carried out.

Alternatively, the user may select the express order option, available on the initial search form. The Company shall in this case send a Confirmation E-mail and proceed to obtain the relevant searches, without sending a Results E-mail and without waiting for a Final Order E-mail from the user. This option is available in order to speed up the process and reduce correspondence between the user and the Company.

4. By selecting the Old Searches search engine the user is granted the option of determining which searches are already present in the company’s databank. By inputting search criteria in any of the fields, the user may then order a particular old search which will be delivered tale quale as found in the Company’s databank.

5. The price for every note forming part of the old searches available costs €1. On the other hand, in the case of updates, prices as charged by the Public Registry are applicable.
